Welcome
to Ms. Thomas'Class!
We are in Room 2 in the early primary wing. We are currently 15 students and working hard building our community of learners.
We are just back from spring break.
Many of us are fascinated by dragons and we are currently reading poems and books about many different types of dragons. Many students have been writing and illustrating their own dragon books. Come and look in our room, we have many dragon paintings and stories on display.
Our latest big project in Early Primary is a science unit called Earth Systems.
We are currently studying clouds and the rain cycle. We are also recording changes in the weather over this month.
We can hardly believe that it is April and we are already thinking about the summer and the end of the school year. We have a lot to do before summer arrives and many activities , field trips and events planned over the next few weeks. Check your weekly Monday mailer for details.
