Welcome to Ms. Kuhn’s page!
It is exciting to start a new school year!
Social Studies: This year we will be focusing mainly on Eastern hemisphere studies, particularly Ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, and China. We will also study five major world religions - Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism. Throughout the year we will explore different aspects of societies, how societies change, and what is needed for societies and civilizations to last.
Math: Our first unit of study this year will be linear equations and inverse variation. We will spend some time reviewing concepts from last year and then build on what we already know in order to deepen understanding.
