Mrs. Powell's Class

Welcome to Room 7! We are a classroom of 19 eager learners.

Here are some things we are working on:

Reading
Students will be starting a new author study on Cynthia Rylant. She is from the Southeast region of our country so it will tie in nicely with our social studies unit.

Writing
Room 7 is full of great writers!! We are focusing on traits of good writing. The class has been working hard on their personal narratives. We are also continuing poetry with Haikus this month!

Math
