MUSIC – Happy Holidays! This month welcomes our Holiday Concert. This concert will feature many different holiday songs from all grade levels. In order to prepare for this concert, students will learn about the many different holidays through song, books, and projects. The early primary and primary students will continue studying rhythms with our rhythm sticks and jingle bells.
Our primary and intermediate recorder classes have been participating in our Recorder Star series. Students are expected to practice certain exercises and they earn their stars by playing well. Our goal is to have everyone be a “Recorder Star” at the end of the school year! The intermediate recorder classes are also preparing to play “Jingle Bells” at the Holiday Concert.
A note to all families, there is a new format for this year’s Holiday Concert on December 21st at 2 p.m. Each grade level will perform by themselves and once they are done singing, they will go back to their classrooms.

BAND – Both the Intermediate Band and Concert Band are gearing up for our Holiday Band Concert. The students are very excited for their upcoming performance on December 13th at 7 p.m. This will be their first concert with brand new music stands from our Music Stand Donation Drive that took place. Thank you to all families who donated! The stands are really appreciated.
