WELCOME TO THE 2011-2012 School Year!
Welcome to Ann Arbor Learning Community!
My name is Lauren LeDuc and this will be my third year with the AALC team.
Here is a little bit about me...
I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2008, with a BA in Elementary Education and minors in math and language arts. I also hold my early childhood education endorsement. After graduation, I was a Title One Tutor at Allen Elementary. I joined AALC in the fall of 2009.
This year I am also honored to be a coach for the Girls on the Run program. This is a wonderful program for girls in grade 3-5.
I look at myself as a positive, patient, energetic and caring individual, who wants the best for each child who enters my classroom. We will work hard, but we will have lots of fun while doing so.

A glimpse of some of the fun we have had last year, and the fun to look forward to this year!
This was our field trip to the Apple Orchard
We got to see real bats!
We had so much fun during our Halloween Parade!
This is just one of the projects we have done during our Thursday art and craft project!
We made dog and cat treats as a class. We sold the treats for $1. We gave all the money we made to the Huron Valley Humane Society!
