Before and After School Programming (Kids Club) at AALC is provided by Community Day Care.
Who is Community Day Care? Community Day Care (CDC) is a non profit, charitable organization and has been serving the Ann Arbor community for over 35 years. As the organization that piloted before and after school programs for AAPS in 1982, CDC has a long reputation for providing high quality programs for children.
Location: We operate our program right here in Ann Arbor Learning Community.
Staff: Kids Club is staffed by personnel trained in child development, behavior management, peer conflict resolution for children, asthma and food allergy/epi pen, CPR and first aid. Our staff must continue to get additional training throughout each year. We have a low staff/child ratio of 1:10.
Program: We offer a nutritious and nut free snack both morning and afternoon and 100% juice. Children will have many opportunities each day to participate in a wide variety of art, science and literacy activities There are games, art supplies, and manupulatives such as Legos, marble works and magna tiles that are accessible for children to use at any time during Kids Club.
Scheduling: Kids Club has a two session per week minimum (either mornings or afternoons).
Times and Fees: Our program times will be 7:15-8:30am and 3:40-6:00pm. Tuition will be $7.10 for each morning and $11.00 for each afternoon.
