Become a Volunteer

We believe that volunteering at AALC is valuable to both the student and the parent. Parents are encouraged to actively participate in the school life of their child.

Parents Learn...
Being in the classroom, parents have an opportunity to observe their student in the classroom setting. They are also able to observe and learn more about the similarities and differences of their classmates.

Students Learn...
Students learn that their parents value education and that their parents are willing to work to help them learn. Students learn that other adults also see schooling as important.

It is important to maintain a safe learning environment for all AALC students. In order to maintain a safe environment and experience, AALC will complete a background check on all volunteers who will have direct contact with students. Completing the volunteer_disclosure_statement.doc will support this check.
